Wikipedia Manasseh and המלך מנשה.

D: -633 or -642

King Manasseh, was twelve years old when he became king and then reigned fifty- five years in the mid 600’s BC, in Jerusalem. (2Chr 33:1&18-20.) He did much EVIL in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger (2Chr 33:6). (2 Kg.21:10-18) explains Manasseh’s forthcomings.

After the Assyrian invasion of Judah in 701 BCE, the long siege and capture of the strongly fortified town of Lachish and massacre of its inhabitants, followed by the siege of Jerusalem, King Menasseh of Judah "reverted to the policy of loyal [sic] submission to Assyrian suzerainty," as did also his successor and son King Amon of Judah. "This brought 50 years of undisturbed peace to Judah." "On the other hand, however, it also increased Assyrian cultural influence, which was felt by conservative elements to endanger religious values and the traditional way of life." Another source states that Menasseh permitted also Baal worship, or even "re-introduced" it.
