I.- Rui Barba de Campos, Señor de Villavicencio de los Caballeros, fue llamado "el Viejo", para diferenciarle de hijo de el mismo nombre, y vivió en la primera mitad del siglo XIV. Tuvo dos hijos:
1º.- Juan Barba, todo apunta a que fue el primogénito ya que existen referencias documentales de que llego a ser Señor de Villavicencio de los Caballeros, sucediendo a su padre, pero debió morir sin descendencia ya que en este señorío le sucedió su hermano Rui.
2º.- Rui Barba, que sigue.
