Upon the death of his father, and after founding the Church of Santa María de la Piscina as ordered by his father Ramiro Sánchez (Infante de Navarra), he settled in the "Old House" of the Villa de Peñacerrada, near the Basilica, in whose Church of the Assumption is buried. The Church was built in 1136 and consecrated on August 1, 1137 by the Bishop of Calahorra, Sancho de Funes.

D. Sancho Ramírez then extends his surname, calling himself Ramírez de la Piscina, and fulfilling the testamentary disposition of his father, creates the Divisa, Solar and Casa Real de la Piscina, proclaiming himself Patron. The Church is then united to the offspring of the Infante - Founder, establishing himself as a basilica and as "proindiviso" of the Diviseros.

Sancho Ramírez de la Piscina has three children and when he dies he leaves the oldest, Ramiro, the Señorío de Peñacerrada, in which the Basilica is located. To the second, Sancho, the Señorío de Arellano, taking this also the name of this town, calling itself Ramírez de Arellano . The third son, Martin, leaves the Manor of Campo de Puelles, so he calls himself Martín Ramírez de Puelles.

Of these three children descend the lineages that, together with the Royal House of Navarre, form the genealogical trunk of the Royal Currency of the Pool.
